Skybox3D timeline can be fully controlled via keyboard shortcuts and GUI (graphical user interface).
In addition, it is also possible to skim through the timeline, while hovering over the timeline bar and rotating the middle mouse button. Each rotation will skip the time by 0.5 seconds, same as using Ctrl + middle mouse button rotation. By pressing Ctrl+middle mouse button rotation, it is not necessary to hover over the timeline, hence it is a faster method to skim-through.
It is also possible to increase or decrease speed by hovering over the speed control button (in picture above it is marked 1.00x) and rotating the middle mouse button up or down.
